This beautifully crafted magnetic key is a mystery. Please  me if you know any thing about it. I believe the key was homemade due to machinist  markings on the bottom of the base indicating where to drill the holes. The base of the key measures 3 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches which places it about the same size as a Vibroplex Vibrokeyer . Please note the magnet at the end of the lever is NOT touching the two bent arms but rather resides slightly above them.

The picture on the right shows the magnetic adjustments. The round red magnet can be adjusted up or down. I am not 100% sure as to the correct adjustment procedure but did notice more magnetic interaction when the red magnet was raised all the way up and touching the two bent arms. From there the two bent arms can be moved inward or outward depending on the operators preference for travel. I prefer a small travel so I have the two bent arms close to touching each other. The other adjustment which limits travel of the lever are accomplished by the contacts.

The picture on the right is of the bottom of the key after restoration was complete. The original feet was dry rotted with cracks and the retaining screws were heavily rusted. All that was replaced. Also note that several other screws have been replaced or restored.

I purchased this key from an online auction site in May of 2022. The description was as follows "“Chrome key. I can't find any brand name on it so I do not know who made it. Looks to be in great shape.”. That's all I have so far but am actively researching this beauty.
