As of August 2010 this shack is no longer in operation. We have moved to a new QTH. As soon as the new station location is fully operational new pictures will be uploaded here. On this page you will find some of the Vintage operating positions at the AI4FR radio station. Starting with these first two pictures we have a Yaesu FT-101E on the left, next to it we have some spare capacitors in their storage tray, then next to it is a Hallicrafters SR-150A transceiver. On the top shelf and starting at the left is some more storage boxes, a Hallicrafters S-22R receiver in the center and at the far right is a Hallicrafters HA-1 T.O. Keyer. The items in the photograph on the right is a view when one shifts their gaze slightly to the right some. Here we can see the above items as well as a Heathkit SB-200 amplifier and a Hewlett Packard HP 54200D Digitizing Oscilloscope below it. One thing that should be mentioned is that the vintage operating position is always in a state of flux. It is always changing with respect to the guest operators and myself depending on which radio we are in the mood to take off the shelf and toss on the air. |
